This just may be our favorite wedding we ever design. We’re biased. This was our own Jennifer’s wedding.
The “MackLivingstons” took a small group of family and friends to Camp Albright and Event Center in Reed City, Michigan. Their vision for a riverside exchange of vows was rained out, but a quick pivot to an indoor space meant the show would go on. Their gathering bordered on elopement and was warm, casual, and intimate.
The dinner space was romantic and rustic. The happy couple embraced a camping theme with vintage lanterns, wood rounds, and a vintage tackle box. Beverages were served in a canoe that the bride and groom would take down the Hersey River the next day. Centerpieces featured vintage adventure and outdoors books and the table numbers were handmade, retro-inspired felt pennants.
One of our favorite details was potted plants as centerpieces (which went on to serve five more events for us in 2024). They added to the homey feeling of the design and became an incredible application of reduce-reuse-recycle.
